Red Iron Bridge
They were still working on the bridge last summer after a flood washed out the underpinnings. My friend Jim went painting with me. We liked the way the sun shone on the sycamore and the red iron. The problem was construction underneath was not so pretty. This is how I worked out my composition, no water under this bridge, but sun dappled sycamore tree in front and deep shadow areas behind.
