Daffodill Meadow

There is an area of Mill Creek Metroparks called Daffodil Meadow. My plein air group painted here twice this month. It is very popular with the public when in peak bloom. We have been painting here three years at least, when the hillside is covered in bright yellow blossoms. I will try to get a better photo. The painting is hanging at the Davis YMCA this month.

Lake Newport

We painted this Monday again at Lake Newport, Daffodil Meadow.We arrived early to beat the rain. Sure enough the rain began around one. It was a gentle rain, though, so I didn't mind, it doesn't inhibit the oil paint, but others paint with acrylic or pastels, so they packed up quickly.

Plein Air Club in East Ohio met Monday at the Mill Creek Park Daffodil Meadow. We had a nice turnout and the weather was ideal.
