It's A Griswold

I worked a little more on this painting. I think it is greatly improved and looks good in an ornate black frame. The title comes from my cousin's exclamation when the church ladies were ready to toss the tea kettle out. It has a very tiny hole in the bottom. The tea towel is one I bought at a friend's mother's garage sale. 9" X 12" Oil on canvas $150

It's A Griswold

This tea kettle has been in our Meeting House kitchen since the new building was built in 1960. No one now remembers who donated it. The women were ready to throw it out because of a tiny leak. My cousin said, "It's a griswold." And I had thought of using it in a still life, but hearing it was worth something made it even more interesting. 9" X 12" Oil Painting $550
