Ohio River Valley

East Liverpool is an Ohio river city. This is the spectacular view in autumn hues from the hilltop this Monday. West Virginia is just across the river. The temperature was a little nippy, but my sister and two friends, Sheri and Carol all did wonderful paintings. One of my art instructors used to tell us we would make better art if we were not too comfortable!

Ohio River, Wellsville

This week the Plein Air group painted on Riverside Ave. in Wellsville. The day was grey, & poured down rain before & after we painted. But we all enjoyed the paint-out. The home owners along the street were thrilled that we wanted to memorialize their view in paint. Somehow an East Liverpool Review photographer happened on us & saw a story. Check the photo out at

Ohio River Marina

Found another lovely place on the Ohio River. Can't wait to go back. Every day would reveal different colors. This painting won first place at the East Liverpool Pottery Festival.                                                         Oil Painting 11" x 14" SOLD

Ohio River

I have been looking for a place along the Ohio River where I can set up to paint for years. So much is built up and private land. I found this lovely place this week in East End, East Liverpool. This Painting was juried into the Butler Regional show.
