Peach Blossoms

Apple Castle is the name of a fruit orchard north of New Castle. This week the Peach trees were making a lovely show against the dark pines & spring greens. PAC, the new Plein Air club met there to paint monday. The day was mostly cloudy, with periods of light rain. A bit damp, but warm.

Angel Road

Yesterday, April 1st met with other artists near the Cheese Factory in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania.
It was a gorgeous day, with cloud shadows moving across the sky, but again the breeze felt frigid. The other painters painted from the shelter of their cars. Nationally known artist Tom McNickols drove past, & stopped briefly to say hello.

Amish Farm & Cornfield

This is the farm I published last month, but it did not quite please me. I have worked more on it and like it much better. It is a demo painted with my plein air class near New Wilmington. PA. Oil Painting 12" x 16" $550

Farm Near Volant

This painting was done a few weeks ago at a Tom McNickle workshop. He paints en plein air in watercolor, but does wonderful studio paintings in oil, using the plein air studies. I have since worked a little more on the painting. 11" X 12" oil on canvas $450
