Red Potatoes With Onions

This Monday we were not inclined to paint outside, yet. Anita was prepared to host us again with more incredible still life set ups! I have been wanting to paint onions. These red potatoes with their eyes popping out are interesting material!

Still Life With blue Jar

This Monday we met at Sue's. She brought out this lovely blue jar she had found at Marc's. I had an antique pitcher with plants I have been wanting to paint. We added the orchid, tea towel and apple to the challenge. Fun at Sue's!!!

Six Pink Roses

I had an urge to paint some cut flowers. I found these gorgeous pink roses at Aldis for a very reasonable price. They seemed to fit nicely in the antique blue canning jar. The tea towel was a gift from a dear friend, who has since passed on to a better place. So maybe this is a kind of memorial to her.

Fiesta Ware With Primroses & Fruit

Shari invited us to meet at her home in Columbiana one Monday. She set up two still life's for us to choose from. But, we found many paintable nooks. The Fiesta Ware caught my eye and went perfectly with the primroses I took along. Great fun!!

Still Life With Red Boots

This winter will soon be over. Then we will be back outside painting in the open air! Meanwhile Anita has given us some amazing things to include in still life paintings. These things were in her garage. What fun!
